Hello everybody, your friendly Paddock Wood resident here. As im sure you are all aware the holiday that is Christmas will soon be apon us again, and enjoyable it is being almost by myself here in Paddock Wood, i would appreciate seeing all my old 6th form chummies again. SOOOOO my Ladies and Gentlemen, what are we going to do for Christmas and New Year's?????? I propose that, like last year, a Christmas eve drink(s) is needed in the most favourite of places, Matfield!! But for New Years im not too sure, i believe someone needs to surrender their house for New Years eve festivites. I know our friendly neighbourhood Party Animal Mr. Jock, proposed his shared house in Winchester, but i believe this is a bit far to travel. So any ideas would be appreciated.
Hope to see/hear from you all soon, Lesley says hi,
Regards
Mr. D
P.S. i think Daves house would be an excellent venue!!! |

I do agree with Mr D we need to sort out something for the Christmas and New Year festivities. However our options are quite limited. As Downs is now the resident of Becky Trumps old house I presume there house is now not an option (unless you are up for being our host Mr D?). I think that the only other option may be the Hills' but of course we will have to ask them... any other ideas would be greatly apreciated.
Also I have some excellent news! I've been officialy accepted to go and do my course in Canada in March!!! which is most exciting! But don't you think that it's gonna stop me posting!
One more thing. The Two Towers is out in about 9 days from today, and is going to be the best film of the year, by a very long way. Me and the Dibb's are planing to take the day off work to go see it at the Odeon and all are welcome to join us. As it will be during the day I'm sure there will be loads of room for all!
Enjoy! (Boy's) _________________ Home - Gallery - Forum Home - Forum HELP! - Forum King |

I am planning to sleep on the pavement out side the Bangor cinema to get to the two towers first! that may result in death by frezzeing or drowning but its a price i am willing to pay for the likes of Tolkin.
needless to say i am VERY exicted about the whole event! _________________ I just thank you Father for making me, Me! |

Christmas Eve at the Star? It's gotta be done, either that or the Wheelwrights (whichever is less crowded).
As for New Year, I would offer the hospitality of my humble abode but I doubt I will be around then, or for much of the Christmas holiday at all. Still, that's no great loss I'm sure.
However I do hope we are not limiting ourselves to just meeting up twice over Christmas. I think most people have only three weeks off for Christmas so lets make the most of it!
Perhaps it may be of some help if people could post when they will be around at Christmas and for how long? So that we can organise some times when everyone can get together (just a thought).
I myself will be away on business for the first week in January.
p.s Yuletide felicitations to you all |

Thanks for your input Chris. I still want to hear from a couple of others, i.e. Dave, Graham, Emma, Andy. and if anybody can pass messages on to Stuart & Steph etc that would be cool. Im around from 20th December to 6th January, so lets try and get some things organised.

Tis me, the ghost of Christmas past.
I thought that now would be a good time to post, after all, I have been in this sodding computer room since one o'clock this afternoon (though I did break briefly for dinner - christmas dinner today. Quite enjoyable in fact, in a break from tradition. I digress) The life of a media student eh?
I am expecting to be back on Saturday 21st December, and I'm around for a whopping month after that. I will not be available on Christmas Eve (well, maybe for an hour) so I'm hoping we could go out the night before.
Anyway, best get on. I never thought that analysing homosexuality in The Bill could be such fun.
And another thing; Why was Jesus not born in Glasgow? Because God couldn't find three wise men and a Virgin.... _________________ Until next time...

It's gonna be good to have you guys back. And I total agree that it has to be the star on Christmas eve. 300 people in a pub that is really not that much bigger than my back garden? it's got to be done really.
It's gonna be good to have you guys back for Christmas, it sucks big time here at the moment. And as you can see it's getting to some of us (see mikes last post).
AS for finding out what everyone else wants to do/when they get back etc. that might be difficualt if they don't come on and register/post soon. I have been trying to get them in here but without success. I'm sure they will show up eventually. _________________ Home - Gallery - Forum Home - Forum HELP! - Forum King |

Hay Guys, the mans back to post on the one and only decent site on the web. As i am the man in the know, ive been speaking to our good friends Jock and Toby. Jock, almighty lord of Sanisbury's bakery Winchester, informs me that his family are going to florida for Christmas, and you've gussed it, without him. So our short little friend will be staying with his auntie over the festive period and will be unable to join us at the pub. Although he tells me he will be around for new years.
So for our elusive friend Mr. Turner, the man from Canterbury tells me that he won't be around for Christmas either, but he will be around from the 28th onwards.
A special word to my great friend Mr. Dibbens, could you work your sultry charms and conjour us up a party place for new years please. You've done it before, im sure you can do it again.
Regards to you all, and if i dont say it Merry Christmas, its only a week away!!
Mickey D & Lesley. |

Hello everyone,
I spoke to Dave yesterday and we are going to try and arange an outing for tomorrow night (thats Sunday the 22nd) all are welcome. I belive me, Chris and Downs are definatly up for it, but is there anyone else? Dave said the Graham is back by then as well so I'm sure he will want to come. And I know that the likes of Jenny, Claire, Lizzy etc are all back so they may want to join us too. Dibb's? are you wanting to come? if so could you please ask all your chums so we can turn a pathetic little gathering into an almightly huge one.
I know it's short notice (aspecially for you Becca) but I know will also definatly be going somewhere on Christmas eve (probably they over crouded star - but hey it's tradition!). So I expect and demand to see you all there.
I hope your all enjoying the festive season because I'm certianly not.
See you all soon _________________ Home - Gallery - Forum Home - Forum HELP! - Forum King |
